A Holiday Wish

T’was the night before Christmas, and all through the lab,

Not a fossil was stirring, not even the bones on the slab.

The lab coats were hung by the back door with care,

In hopes that the new equipment soon would be there.

The volunteers were all nestled at home in their beds,

While visions of field jackets appeared in their heads.

And I in my goggles, and PPE mask,

Had just sat down for a fossil cleaning task.

When out in the Dinosaur Hall, there arose such a clatter,

I jumped from my chair to see what was the matter.

Away to the lab window, I flew in a flash,

To see which dinosaur had made such a crash.

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

The new lab safety equipment was finally here!

So needed and shiny, a beautiful sight!

A dust collector and preparation unit - just right!

But how did they get here, so perfect and new?

I knew the next moment it must be thanks to you!

Thank you to you, our wonderful supporters, who keep this organization going and help us fulfill our mission! If you haven’t had a chance to contribute to Elevate the Lab yet, there’s still time and every dollar counts!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones from Elevation Science!
